NEB Guidelines 2082

The National Examination Board (NEB) has officially released the Class 12 Exam Conduct and Management Guidelines for the year 2082 BS. The annual board examinations are set to begin on 2082/01/11 (April 24, 2025) across Nepal. To ensure fairness, transparency, and discipline in the examination process, NEB has issued a set of important instructions for all exam centers, school authorities, invigilators, and students.

Key Guidelines for NEB Class 12 Board Exams 2082

  1. Arrival and Identification: Students must arrive at least 30 minutes before the exam begins and carry their admission card and citizenship/student ID for verification.
  2. Staff Responsibilities: Exam center heads must manage question papers, answer sheets, and attendance securely. Assistants must support distribution and collection.
  3. Security Measures: All materials must be securely handled with double verification. Question papers should remain confidential until exam time.
  4. Monitoring: Local municipality officials can inspect centers and should be given full cooperation.
  5. Exam Hall Conduct: Only authorized personnel and candidates are allowed inside. Mobile phones or unauthorized devices are strictly banned.
  6. Curriculum Management:
    • New Curriculum: Students from 2080/081 onwards.
    • Old Curriculum: Students from 2079/080 or earlier.
    • Correct question paper sets must be distributed accordingly.
  7. Question Paper Download:
    • Schools must log in to exam.neb.gov.np using School Code and Password.
    • An OTP will be sent to the center head’s mobile. Only after entering the OTP will the system allow downloading.
  8. Confidentiality: Sharing papers on social media or to unauthorized persons is strictly prohibited.
  9. Prohibited Items: No mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, or electronic devices for both staff and students.
  10. Emergency Communication: Only use official NEB contact numbers in emergencies.
